Professor, Dpt. Of Special Education, SNDT WU, Juhu Campus, Mumbai. Dr. Sujata Bhan is a Professor in Department of Special Education, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. She is a trained psycho-educationist, clinical psychologist, and teacher educator. She is actively involved in teaching, administration, research, and training teachers in Special Education for nearly 25 years. Professor Bhan has conducted extensive research in special education in national and international projects. Her area of specialization is Human Development and Visual Impairment. She has written and edited books on “Inclusive Education”. “Understanding Learners: A Manual for Teachers” have been authored by her. She has developed course material for special education courses at graduate and post graduate level for various open universities like IGNOU, Bhoj University, YCMOU, and Mauritius Institute of Education. She has contributed many chapters in books on special education. Her research work has been published in international and national journals. She is a referee of an international journal and is in the board of editors of a national journal.
