Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education majoring in Mental Retardation and a P.G. Diploma in Early Childhood Education from SNDT Women’s University. She is a graduate in English Literature from Mithibai College, Mumbai. She has been a kindergarten teacher at P.R.Toddler’s Academy, Borivali and a special educator at Arushi Learning Center and Jamnabai Narsee School. She has been a part time lecturer at SNDT Women’s University to introduce teacher trainees to special needs education and train them in making teaching-learning aids. She has volunteered her time and expertise at various NGO’s. She was Partner at Learning Planet, an activity center for kids at Juhu and currently works as a private remedial educator for children with learning difficulties. She has a passion for teaching language and grammar and fulfills the same by engaging with student in creative writing sessions. Her creativity and artistic abilities help her to bring an element of fun in her work. Be it volunteering at various NGO’s or planning creative workshops or organizing events for kids, she loves it all. She enjoys teaching because it is an adventure - exciting, ever changing and never boring while the infinite possibilities and knowledge that young minds bring motivate her to teach each and every day.
