Jill Pavich Jill Pavich is the founder and CCO of edPioneer Consulting, LLC where she empowers teachers with the mindset + resources they need to make writing more relevant, authentic, and applicable in a modern classroom. With 15+ years of experience in the field, Jill earned her bachelor’s degree in education, ELA 6-12 (with a minor in writing) before going on to earn a Master’s degree in education + curriculum design. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in 2009, and was recognized by her school district in 2015 as a Dwyer Award finalist for teaching excellence. Jill is the author of Cambridge University Press’s first-ever course book for AS Level English General Paper 8021, a globally-geared curriculum she has a huge heart for because of its skills-based approach and emphasis on critical reading, thinking, and writing skills. She also consulted and published curriculum materials for Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE) and served as both an accredited teacher trainers before moving on to serve as regional trainer for the program. Jill is passionate about rethinking high school education.
