It has been over a year now that I joined the FB group THT. Admin Ms. Rakhee Chhabria. Rakhee has done an excellent job reviewing each one’s contribution and making sure that only the best and relevant ones are posted. She keeps members focused. Days are allocated to post jobs and to advertise courses. It is a very organized group of like-minded people. Isolation can be a side effect of becoming a teacher. Teachers often get caught up in walking into a classroom, shutting the door, and tending to their own students and during a break talking to a limited group of co teachers. But, effective teachers have a desire to grow and do better. For this teachers need to share ideas, experiences, challenges they face (which someone may have a solution to) etc. THT offers such support and collaboration to teachers, trainers, and educators. There are discussions, craft ideas, suggestions to websites, job opportunities, useful articles all posted on the THT group. These discussions are crucial to maintaining the morale and sanity of all educators. We are a group of educators who have one purpose to provide learning for all & to grow professionally. At this group teachers are willing to share, support, and explore together. This is beneficial to all! I am happy to be a member of THT.
