📘 धातु परिचय (Introduction to Dhātu)

संस्कृत भाषा के सभी शब्दों की जड़ को धातु कहते हैं।

धातु = क्रिया बताने वाला मूल रूप।

जैसे बीज से पेड़ बनता है, वैसे ही धातु से शब्द और वाक्य बनते हैं।

उदाहरण:

• पठ् (पढ़ना) → पठति = वह पढ़ता है।

• गम् (जाना) → गच्छति = वह जाता है।

• खाद् (खाना) → खादति = वह खाता है।

📘 Dhātu Parichaya (Introduction to Verb Roots)

In Sanskrit, the root of every word is called a Dhātu.

Dhātu = the basic form that shows an action (verb root).

Just like a tree grows from a seed, words and sentences grow from dhātus.

Examples:

• पठ् (paṭh) = to read → पठति (paṭhati) = he reads

• गम् (gam) = to go → गच्छति (gacchati) = he goes

• खाद् (khād) = to eat → खादति (khādati) = he eats
